Whether you realize it or not, websites are essential to your business. I don't know about you, but when I am looking for a service in an area, say a chiropractor, the first thing that I do is go online and type in "chiropractor" into Google to find one. I don't use the phone book or just randomly pick one that I drive by. If you do not have a website you are losing out on your customer base.
Websites are important for repeat business. Lets say that you are a residential painting company. You complete a job for a client, then a few years later the client needs more paint work done. If they forgot your name or lost your contact information, they may never be able to find you without a website.
I also bet that your competitors have websites. This means that potential clients will see their website and never hear anything about you. If your competitors don't already have websites, then why not get a leg up?
